Among
all the pandemics and different plagues that have crushed the humankind
throughout all its existence the most serious one is undoubtedly the dominant
idiocy intrinsic to all human being. It has scourged us during our whole
existence and it is far from disappearing, instead it seems to grow stronger
and nastier each singular day depriving us from applying to it a satisfactory
solution. Nevertheless, this uncanny and ignominious epidemic has caught the
attention of some people and the concern about a possible solution has arisen
lately. One of the potential propositions which has emerged as a possible
solution to end with this illness would be to search all idiocy outbreak and
work hard to eradicate it once and for all. The drawback to this possibility is
that new sprouts could arise after all the efforts done in eradicating the previous
ones, so it would require a constant vigilance and eradication. Another
different alternative would be trying to prevent idiocy to emerge going straight
to its origin and trying to destroy it just before its first appearance. Maybe
it would be necessary to obliterate it a couple of times in some cases if it
has not been detected sufficiently in advance but even in these cases this
would help to positively reinforce those suffering from the disease by creating
a habit of eliminating each idiocy upsurge as soon as it appears. The main
inconvenient we could find in this one is that we should try to avoid exposing these
people to chronically ill human beings, since it would finally lead to a new
revival of the illness and all the work done would have been in vane. So maybe
the best choice it would be a combination of both of them, since we would
eradicate first the existent problem and then we would work on trying to avoid
new sprouts in people who have been not ill before. Idiocy in the world is a
worrying epidemic of our time but we know the medicine for it, and it is to
educate people, the only remaining problem is to convince the world about their
illness in order to be able to apply the cure.
